The Journey of Benish Muneer

Benish Muneer is a Digital Growth Strategist, social impact leader, and the Founder of Techsheros — a digital marketing and technology company built with a mission to help businesses grow while creating opportunities for women in the digital economy.

Her journey began in Tharparkar, Pakistan, a region known for its resilience and strong community spirit. From early in her career, Benish chose a path centered on impact and service. After completing her Master’s degree in English, she began working with development organizations and NGOs, closely engaging with local communities and contributing to initiatives focused on education, economic development, and social empowerment.

Through her work with communities, she witnessed firsthand the challenges many women face in accessing education, skills, and professional opportunities. These experiences shaped her vision and strengthened her commitment to empowering women with the knowledge and digital skills needed to transform their futures.

Her professional journey later led her to serve as a National Consultant (Cluster Development Expert) with the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), where she worked on initiatives aimed at strengthening economic ecosystems and supporting sustainable development.

Her leadership and social contributions have been recognized through honors such as the Soormi Award and the Marvi Award at the Sindh Literature Festival, celebrating her efforts in community development, empowerment, and social impact.
